Daily Weigh In a Good Habit

This article is somewhat confusing, but the message to include a daily weigh in on the scale is great advice. Make a trip to the scale every morning when you first wake up. Getting into the habit of weighing yourself daily is a great motivator.

If you know you want to be a little less than you were yesterday, you might be hesitant to grab that last midnight snack before bed.

Another piece of advice is warranted here, though. That is, get a scale that monitors your body composition. When you first start a weight loss program, you're likely to gain weight instead of lose it due to gaining more "heavy" muscle. Unless you know you're fat percentage is going down, the first couple of weeks--the hardest time--is likely to feel especially frustrating.
