Your HRH Program E-book and Bonuses

All Clear Yet?

I don’t know if you noticed, but the holiday season bombarded people with more than the average number of promotion and incentives.  After sending out the first two December newsletters about relaxation, I got the feeling that I was adding to the clutter rather than subtracting from it.  So I decided to cancel the third of the series just to give you a break from the season of advertising—oops, I mean holidays.

I do hope you and your loved ones had a great holiday season, and I also hope you’re ready for a great New Year.  I certainly enjoyed the extra time with my family—taking the better part of a whole week to be with my wife and daughters.  It was special time, and it was the first time in months that I hadn’t obsessed about checking my e-mail every four minutes.

You’re now receiving messages all about setting and achieving New Year’s resolutions.  I’ll be talking about those, too, just to let you know, because weight loss and health is almost always on everyone’s list of things to do for themselves in the New Year.

But we’re going to do it a little differently in that there will actually be follow-up instead of a one-time motivational.  We’ll focus on the process—the day-to-day nature of making our lives extraordinary beyond our wildest dreams—instead of just the end results.  Maybe I’ll call them All Year Resolutions instead of New Year Resolutions.  Catchy, eh?

We’ll start with that next week, but this week I wanted to ask you a favor.

You see, I’m also setting my resolutions and goals for the New Year, and I need your input to decide on the focus and direction of all things HRH in the coming months.

What do you need more information about? What do you like and dislike about the HRH Program, the newsletters, and the web sites? How can I help you achieve the state of healthfulness and vitality you’re looking for?

Get back to me on this stuff.  Please! You can contact me at craig@heartratehealth.com, and I’ll try to respond to your ideas and feedback in a timely fashion.

Of course, I have my own ideas about making improvements, and I want to run them by you to gauge your interest level.  I’ll share two below, and then I’ll leave you alone until next week.

First, there are now well over 4,000 HRH Program Newsletter subscribers, with dozens signing up every day.  I thought it might be a good idea to let you talk to each other about your health concerns instead of just waiting for me.  With that in mind, I’m considering adding a forum to the web site.  With the forum, you would be able to find people with similar interests, ask questions, make new “e-friends”, and have a place to go when you need support and feedback about optimizing your health.

My question is, would you be interested in participating in that? I don’t want to set up an online ghost-town, so tell me whether this would be helpful or supportive for you, or if you’d rather not.  I personally don’t have a ton of experience with forums, so anyone who knows something about them is welcome to offer suggestions.

Second, I’m starting to jot down a second book.  This one will be focused more on the mental and emotional aspects of succeeding with health.  The HRH Program really focuses on specific actions to take that will absolutely help you succeed in overcoming your health problems on a biological level.  Too many times, weight loss and fitness programs focus on shaping the body through the mind, regardless of what the body needs and desires.  I think this is a formula for short-term success but long-term failure.

Still, even after our bodies are adjusted to crave wellness, our minds can still get in the way and sabotage us.  This second book will focus on how to bring both into alignment.

OK, that’s enough for now.  I’ll share a little more about this stuff next week, and we’ll also get into the All Year Resolutions.

One last reminder that I’m fully expecting at least 4000 replies to this newsletter, so you’re on the hot seat to give me a thumbs up or down on what you’ve read here.

HeartMath Freeze-Framer 2.0

Imagine you’ve just had one of those talks with your boss. You’re fuming, because your boss has clearly got it wrong…again. But you’ve got a meeting with a client in just a few minutes. Not only do you have to put on your happy face, you’ve got to make it believable, or you’re going to lose a deal you really need in order to avoid, well, another one of those talks with your boss.

What should you do?

It turns out there are two methods. One is to use HeartMath techniques. The other is to hope you get lucky. Let’s find out what you would do if you were trained with the Freeze Framer Interactive Learning System from Heartmath….

Once you leave the scene of the crime, you’ll just go to your heart. Closing your eyes, you’ll take a few deep breaths, imagining them flowing right through your heart. You’ll focus all your attention there, and you’ll feel the love start to emanate through your whole body as you run pictures of your loved ones through your head.

Then, feeling refreshed and alert, and without even a hint of negativity in your demeanor, you greet your client with a hearty smile and a firm handshake. You know you’re going to get the deal done.

You also promise yourself you’ll introduce this method to your boss and co-workers, who are wondering how in the heck you pulled yourself together so fast.

But you know exactly what happened. By generating coherence in your heart beat, you communicated a deep sense of relaxation and clarity to your brain and the rest of your body.

You knew that your brain and body be forced to listen to your heart, no matter what the signals you were receiving from your external environment, because the field of coherence generated by your heart was five thousand times as strong as those thoughts of doom and dread filling your head.

In other words, you knew the Heartmath methods were effective, because you had trained yourself on the Freeze Framer…

So what is this HeartMath Freeze Framer stuff? Well, to me, it’s just about the most important piece of software you could possibly have on your computer, because it can make a huge difference in your life!

In a lot of ways, HeartMath was an inspiration for the HRH Program, as I learned about the importance of the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) directly from reading their books and research papers. (In case you haven’t been “with me” for much time yet, the PNS is the branch of your nervous system that promotes relaxation and settles you down after stressful situations. Without it fully functioning, you really are doomed, probably from an early heart attack. So, it’s important!)

Yes, I had heard of the PNS before, but after I read about HeartMath, I was on the lookout for it everywhere. And it turns out that the importance of the PNS is indeed showing up everywhere that counts in relation to health. It is being studied in relation to heart health, depression, diabetes, and a whole host of other modern killers.

The Freeze Framer specifically helps you understand and, more importantly, control the activity of the PNS through feedback training. The activity of the PNS can be measured through heart rate variability (HRV). When HRV is good and coherent, your heart, nervous system, and brain will be operating at peak efficiency and power.

With the Freeze Framer, in conjunction with HeartMath techniques, the HRV is measured for coherence using a simple but accurate pulse monitor that you slip on your finger or clip on your ear. The software that links with the pulse monitor gives you gentle feedback that tells you whether you’re on the right track. Over time, you learn how it feels to have coherent heart rhythms, and you can get more deeply into them with the training and achieve them faster. With enough practice, you can generate this coherent state at will, no matter the circumstance.

When you do, you’ll discover all sorts of benefits. HeartMath techniques are used in hospital settings to help nurses cope with their duties. Students are using them to achieve better scores on tests. Cops are even installing the Freeze Framer into their cruisers to help them recover after stressful calls…
